At Oakleys Biomass, we are committed to promoting sustainable energy solutions, and we want to buy your wood chip and logs!
Whether you have surplus wood materials from forestry operations, tree care, or landscaping, we are interested in sourcing high-quality biomass for renewable energy production.
By partnering with us, you can turn your excess wood into a valuable resource while contributing to a greener future.
We prioritize ethical sourcing and sustainability, ensuring that your materials are used efficiently and responsibly.

Arb Chip
Arb woodchip refers to wood chips or small pieces of wood produced during tree maintenance and arborist activities, such as tree trimming, pruning, or removal.
When trees are pruned or felled, the branches and wood are often chipped into smaller pieces using a wood chipper.

Whole Tree Chip
Whole tree chip refers to wood chips that are produced by chipping an entire tree, including the trunk, branches, and foliage, as opposed to just specific parts like branches or logs.
This process involves using large-scale industrial chippers that can handle the entire tree, often resulting in a mix of wood, bark, and leaves in the chip mixture.

Log Chip
Refers to wood chips made from the trunks or logs of trees, as opposed to branches, foliage, or the entire tree.
These chips are typically produced by chipping whole logs, which are often harvested for commercial purposes like timber or pulpwood. The process results in wood chips that are more uniform in size and composition compared to chips made from the entire tree.

Brash
Brash is a term used to describe the waste material which typically includes small branches, twigs, leaves, and other debris left over after forestry and arboricultural activities.
While not useful for traditional wood products like lumber or firewood, brash can still have various applications, including being chipped into mulch, used for erosion control, or composted to improve soil quality.

Arb Logs
Logs are unprocessed sections of trees, which can vary in size and species. They may be whole trees or parts of trees that have been felled.
Arb logs sourced locally from tree maintenance activities and can come from various sections of the tree, including the trunk, branches, or larger limbs.

Cordwood
Refers to cut and seasoned wood that is typically stacked in a specific measurement.
The wood is generally seasoned, meaning it has been allowed to dry over time, making it more suitable for burning, as properly seasoned wood burns more efficiently and produces less smoke than green (unseasoned) wood.

Onsite Chipping
We specialise in onsite wood chipping services for larger jobs, providing an efficient solution for your tree care and landscaping project.
Our team handles the entire chipping process with care and precision, ensuring that your site is cleared and the material is processed in an environmentally-friendly manner, minimizing waste and maximizing the value of the wood.

Transportation
To ensure smooth and efficient operations, we take the responsibility of organising transportation.
We use a network of trusted haulage providers, who are experienced in handling various types of materials, including large or bulky items like wood chips, logs, or tree debris. We can guarantee that your materials are not only delivered safely but also arrive on time.

Forestry
We can manage both small and large forestry sites, and offer a variety of services for forest and vegetation maintenance.
From chainsaw to digger work, we help you extract every last ounce of profit from any site, including chipping any valuable waste into biomass.
